Terminator 2 (1991)

Terminator 2: Judgment Day is an excellent sequel to the first, which launched one of the most recognizable sci-fi action franchises of all time. Director James Cameron took the original Terminator and vastly improved it — from the plot to the visual effects. Arnold Schwarzenegger's mission this time is to safeguard Sarah Connor's kid, John, against a highly evolved and visually stunning T-1000.

With the fate of the human race at stake, it's no surprise that Terminator 2 included jaw-dropping action sequences such as helicopter stunts, tremendous explosions, and automobile chases. Even though it was released in the early 1990s, audiences can experience the same level of thrill and horror when the T-800 and T-1000 collide.
