The April Palm Week
The April Palm Week, which takes place in April, commemorates Jesus' arrival into Jerusalem. Many Ukrainians beat one other with willow branches to treat ailments and banish evil spirits, as is customary during this event. The event concludes on Palm Sunday and is one of the most important celebrations held in April. The festival takes place all throughout Ukraine.
