The Block

The Block Restaurant and Butcher Shop is a neighborhood hangout with a simple mission: to create and serve a farm-fresh, seasonal menu made with the freshest local ingredients. We can appreciate the vast resources of the Greater St. Louis area while also supporting the local community and economy by choosing local foods. The Block also pays respect to traditional butchery by doing primary and secondary butchery in-house on locally sourced livestock. We have a full-service meat counter with artisanal accoutrements so you can take fresh cuts home and make your own locally-inspired dishes.
