The Day I Died: Unclosed Case is a 2020 South Korean character-driven, investigation drama film, directed by Park Ji-wan in her directorial debut. A teenage witness to her father's crime vanishes on an island on a dark stormy night, leaving her shoes on the cliff and her final will and testament in her house. A corpse has yet to be discovered due to inclement weather. The case cannot be closed in the absence of the corpse and is simply dismissed as suicide. Detective Hyun Soo (Kim Hye-soo) travels to the island to look into the girl's tragic death.
