The Idyllic Island of Gozo
Gozo is the Maltese Islands' most beautiful location. This small island is ideal for a relaxing holiday for a few days or even a week, thanks to its tranquil settlements and lovely beaches. Despite being less developed than Malta, Gozo offers a diverse range of cultural experiences, including Victoria, a walled medieval city; Marsalforn, a lively coastal resort; and Ggantija Temples, the Maltese Islands' most important archaeological monument, which dates back to roughly 3500 BC.
The island's landscape provides a pleasant respite from the contemporary world for visitors. The island's valleys and undulating hills are covered in a patchwork of small farms. Traditional towns rise above the scenery, while the hillsides lead to protected beaches and charming old fishing ports. Grandiose Baroque churches can be found in even the tiniest villages.
Also, in the Island of Gozo, Ramla Bay is a popular beach with a large, sandy beach and calm, swimming-friendly waves. The beach is well-equipped, with amenities such as lounge chair and umbrella rentals, showers, restrooms, changing places, and snack shops.
