The Innocent Man (2012)

"The Innocent Man" began with Kang Maru (Song Joong Ki), a promising medical student who fell in love with his next-door neighbor. However, when his girlfriend was arrested for murdering a man, he took her place and even went to prison for her. However, the woman to whom Maru committed his life eventually married a wealthy CEO, leaving Kang Maru as an aimless, cold, and calculated male host.

Kang Maru eventually approached his ex-stepdaughter with love's with the intention of uprooting her life. He eventually falls for this icy woman, played by actress Moon Chae Won. "The Innocent Man" is a melodrama full of conspiracies and betrayals, but it also features heart-wrenching romance. Song Joong Ki and Moon Chae Won both successfully represent their characters and provide an explosive relationship packed with both love and anger.
