The Last Shaman (2016)

The Last Shaman is a frightening documentary that takes you from the top Massachusetts prep school Phillips-Andover to the Amazon and back. 'The Last Shaman,' directed by Raz Degan, is a documentary about a chronically depressed man named James Freeman who is aware that he is losing his battle with his mental health concerns.

To take matters into his own hands, he chooses to travel the Amazon, where he finds acceptance of himself and makes significant progress.
