The White Helmets (2016)

The White Helmets is a British short documentary film released in 2016. The video covers the everyday operations of a group of Syrian Civil Defence volunteer rescue workers known as the White Helmets. Orlando von Einsiedel directed the picture, which Joanna Natasegara produced. At the 89th Academy Awards, it was named Best Documentary (Short Subject).

'The White Helmets,' set in Aleppo, Syria and Turkey in 2016, follows a group of three first responders who risk everything to rescue the lives of innocent people. While engaged in the deadly objective of saving civilian lives, the volunteers are filled with anxiety for the safety of their loved ones back home. 'The White Helmets,' directed by Academy Award winner Orlando von Einsiedel, portrays the tragic story of human suffering on one side and the humbling chronicle of the human spirit on the other.
