Trickeye Museum Seoul
Trickeye Museum Seoul is a gallery franchise that features large wall paintings or installations with augmented reality and/or 3D illusions. The Trickeye Museum's owner has created a unique camera program to view the landing AR effect. In 2010, the first Trickeye Museum opened in Seoul, South Korea. The second museum in Busan opened in 2012. Seoul Trickeye Museum joined the Ice Museum and the Love Museum in 2013. In the same year, Jeju's third Trickeye Museum opened. In the same year, the first two franchisees outside of South Korea opened: in Hong Kong and Singapore. Another Retro-themed museum opened in Yangpyeong, South Korea, in 2016.
The Trickeye Museum in Seoul presently has 65 artworks, 10 outside and 55 within the charged entry. Inside, there are 40 AR-enabled artworks and 15 non-AR artworks (either installations or wall paintings). There is also an Ice Museum (where everything is made of ice) and a VR entertainment zone in addition to the main museum exhibit. In addition, a Love Museum is housed in the same building as the Trickeye Museum complex in Seoul.
