Tupper Lake

The American community of Tupper Lake is located in Franklin County, New York. The 2010 census found 3,667 people living there. West of Lake Placid, in the Adirondack Park, is where the settlement is situated. These three towns make up the Tri-Lakes region, which also includes Saranac Lake. The town of Tupper Lake, once known as Altamont, includes the village of Tupper Lake. The county's southwest region contains the town and village. The 11,000-acre Tupper Lake, located two miles south of the settlement, inspired its name.

If you want to get on the water, go to Ausable Chasm and raft or tube through the water while being surrounded by massive, 500 million-year-old sandstone formations.
