UEFA Champions League
It was established shortly after UEFA's inaugural congress, which was held in Vienna on March 2, 1955. It was established in June 1954. It is simply known as the Champion's League and is one of the world's most renowned events. This league kicks off in mid-July. The winner of this league earns a place in the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA World Cup. Real Madrid, the most successful club in the history of the contests, has won the events 10 times.
The UEFA Champions League pits Europe's premier clubs against one other for the European Champion Clubs' Cup. It is the most-watched yearly athletic event in the world, and it is extremely popular not only in Europe but all across the world. Its popularity continues to rise despite its nearly 60-year history.
The 2021–22 UEFA Champions League is the 67th season of UEFA's elite club football event and the 30th since it was renamed the European Champion Clubs' Cup to the UEFA Champions League. The final will take place at Saint Petersburg's Krestovsky Stadium. It was initially slated to take place at Munich's Allianz Arena. However, because the 2020 final was postponed and relocated, the final hosts were pushed back a year, with Saint Petersburg hosting 2022 final instead. The champions of the 2021–22 UEFA Champions League will automatically qualify for the 2022–23 UEFA Champions League group stage, as well as the chance to compete in the 2022 UEFA Super Cup against the winners of the 2021–22 UEFA Europa League.
