Vibrant nightlife

Some claim that San Pedro Sula has the best nightlife in Honduras, and it is true that this city is a terrific spot to go out and party until dawn or to spend some quiet time in a nice cafe before seeing a movie. In addition, the city is close to a lot of other sights, including beaches and historic sites.

But Honduras' other cities also have a lot to offer. For instance, Tegucigalpa has fantastic rum and even better bars where to drink it, and even the peaceful colonial towns of Comayagua or Cracias have a nice range of small but interesting bars. Another well-liked vacation spot and a frequent stop for Caribbean cruises are Roatan, which is located on the Bay Islands. Don't forget to try some of the local rum while you're there. It has a lot of pubs and clubs where you may hang out during the day or at night. Rum is quite inexpensive and can be enjoyable on a hot day if served with ice cubes in many Honduran pubs, unlike other places where beer is the cheapest drink available.
