In an unfortunate accident, a young salaryman met his demise only to find himself reborn in an alternate world brimming with magic and malevolent entities. As an infant, he became the ward of the patriotic hero known as "Sage" Merlin Wolford, who bestowed upon him the name Shin.

Raised as Merlin's grandson, Shin absorbed the sage's wisdom, acquiring extraordinary powers. However, upon reaching the age of 15, Merlin belatedly realized that he had neglected to impart basic common sense to his protégé.

Diseum, the ruler of the Earlshide Kingdom, recognizing Shin's potential, suggested that he enroll in the Magic Academy, with the stipulation that Shin not be exploited for political machinations. In the capital, Shin found himself rescuing two damsels, Maria and Sizilien, from the clutches of thugs.

Subsequently, he initiated a club comprising himself and fellow members. Thus, Shin's journey in this magical realm unfolds, marked by his unique upbringing, extraordinary abilities, and the unexpected challenges and relationships that come his way.
