Wyndham Midtown 45
The Wyndham Midtown 45 is about a 10-minute walk east of Grand Central Station, as opposed to Midtown hotels that are more centrally positioned. A few steps away from the UN, the hotel's upper floors offer spectacular views of the latter structure, the East River, and famous Midtown structures like the Chrysler Building. Many New Yorkers commute to work in Midtown East. The Chrysler Building and the Seagram Building, two iconic buildings, dominate the skyline. Many delis and Starbucks cafes on the ground provide food for the people who work in cubicles. However, there is a ton of metro access, which makes traveling anywhere in the city simple. Additionally, it's only a short walk, quick taxi trip, or quick metro ride to the theater district and the 24-hour, tourist-focused mayhem of Times Square.
The typical room (the Deluxe King) has a desk space with a row of vertical shelves, an open closet built into the wall, and these features. There are 203 rooms total in the hotel, 130 of which are suites with high-end features including Poggenpohl kitchens, Sub-Zero freezers, and Miele dishwashers. Despite being modern, rooms show signs of wear and tear. Since Wydham acquired the property in 2013, the rooms will likely be updated to brand standards.
