Mr. Belvedere

Mr. Belvedere is an American sitcom that originally aired on ABC from March 15, 1985, to July 8, 1990. With starring Christopher Hewett as Lynn Belvedere, an exquisite British gentleman who finds himself as the butler for a family in Pittsburgh, followed by the tradition of smart television butlers like Benson.

Frank Dungan and Jeff Stein, the show's co-creator and executive producers, described the show as "a very sophisticated, very British sophisticate recruited to bring order to a chaotic home in a Pittsburgh suburb." Mr. Belvedere never made it into Nielsen's Top 30 shows throughout its six-season run, but it did have a good rating foundation and frequently won its time slot.
