Laverne & Shirley
Laverne & Shirley (formerly Laverne DeFazio & Shirley Feeney) was an American sitcom television series that aired on ABC from January 27, 1976, to May 10, 1983, for eight seasons. Laverne & Shirley included regular physical humor, became the most-watched American television show by its third season, receiving six Golden Globe nominations and one Emmy nomination.
Laverne & Shirley was a spin-off of Happy Days that followed the lives of two friends and roommates, Laverne DeFazio and Shirley Feeney, who worked as bottle-cappers in the fictitious Shotz Brewery in late 1950s Milwaukee, Wisconsin. From the sixth season onwards, the series' location was shifted to Burbank, California in the mid-1960s.
