The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta or IIM-C) is a public business school in Joka, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It was the first Indian Institute of Management to be established, and the Government of India designated it as an Institute of National Importance in 2017. IIM Calcutta offers a two-year full-time MBA, a one-year MBA for experienced executives, a Doctor of Business Administration program, a two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics, and a one-year full-time Healthcare Management programme. IIM Calcutta is one of only three triple-accredited business schools in India and the first. It is also India's only business school that is a member of the CEMS Global Alliance in Management Education.
The institute offers a Doctor of Business Administration program, a one-year MBA for experienced executives, and two-year full-time MBA programs. According to the CEOWORLD magazine, the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta is ranked No. 25 in the world among the Best Business Schools In The World For 2020. The New Campus is divided into two large "houses", each of which houses 175 students in private rooms with attached balconies. The construction of an Executive Centre with 200 suites and rooms, training and syndicate rooms, and well-equipped executive dining and recreation areas is well underway. A steel bridge connects the new residential campus to the existing campus. The Faculty of Management Studies at the University of Delhi is a prestigious business school in New Delhi, India. It was founded in 1954 under the auspices of the University of Delhi and is widely regarded as one of India's top business schools. The institute was founded on the campus of the Delhi School of Economics by Dean A. Dasgupta of the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE). The Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), now known as the Delhi Technological University (DTU), abolished its department of commerce and established the Faculty of Management Studies. The first group of professors received their education at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Since then, the institute has increased the number of management courses it offers.
Admission to the course is based on the results of the Common Admission Test (CAT) administered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). The maximum number of seats for the Doctoral program is 20. Candidates must take the entrance exam, which is held every year from November to December. Candidates in certain categories, however, are exempt from taking this entrance exam. The MBA Executive program has 159 students enrolled, while the MBA Executive (Health Care Administration) program has 39 students enrolled. For full-time students, the admission process has recently been modified so that the CAT weightage is 60%, with the remaining 40% reserved for past academic records, group discussions, extempore, and personal interviews.

IIM Ahmedabad (Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad) is a business school in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. In 2017, the Ministry of Human Resources of the Government of India designated the school as an Institute of National Importance. The institute, which was founded in 1961, offers master's degree programs in management and agri-business management, as well as a fellowship program and a variety of executive training programs. The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore or IIMB) is a public business school and a National Institute of Importance in Bangalore, India. It was the third IIM to be established, following IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad. Postgraduate, Doctoral, Executive Education, and Certificate Programs are available at the institute.
Aside from the Doctor of Philosophy, IIMB also offers a two-year part-time executive MBA program for working executives, a one-year full-time Master of Management Studies in Public Policy program, and a two-year full-time MBA program in Business Analytics. The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow or IIM-L) is a public business school located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. The Government of India established it in 1984 as the fourth Indian Institute of Management (IIM). IIM Lucknow offers post-graduate diploma, fellowship, and executive management programs. The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode or IIMK) is a self-governing public business school in Calicut (Kozhikode), Kerala. The institute, founded in 1996 by the Government of India in partnership with the State Government of Kerala, is one of 20 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). It was the fifth IIM to open its doors. The Indian Institute of Management Indore is a self-governing public business school in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. IIM Indore was founded in 1996 and is the sixth member of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) family of management schools. It was designated as an institute of national importance in 2017 along with the other IIMs.

XLRI – Xavier School of Management (XLRI or formerly Xavier Labour Relations Institute) is a private business school in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India, run by the Society of Jesus. It was established in 1949 in the steel city of Jamshedpur as India's first business school.
