Black Hops Brewing is the story of 3 Gold Coast friends crafting beer and sharing everything they've learned along the way.
Black Hops won the Australian AIBA 2018 and the RQFWS Champion Brewery 2019 and 2021. Black Hops started as a simple idea of a beer with 3 good friends Dan, Eddie and Govs, that led to the first Black Hops beer, Eggnog Stout. A few years on, they have a team of more than 60 employees, a brewery and a gym in Burleigh Heads and Biggera Waters and their beer is available in more than 1,000 locations and bottling shops around the country.
Community is something they value very much at Black Hops and as such, they do a lot to help the community. Black Hops regularly supports not-for-profit causes in a variety of ways. If you pursue a goal not for profit and you can use their support. Please note that they do not give away beer for marketing or promotional purposes. They do it because they really want to help those in need.

More than just a name, Balter is exactly that feeling of enjoyment you get from doing something you love, just for the thrill of it.
Interestingly, this enjoyment can be found anywhere. You can win the World Tinnie Hurling (a sport they invented), or simply feel victorious because you've navigated the mindset of putting an IKEA shelf together. Its purest origins can be found at the end of a good day's work when you sit back, sip an epic beer and go… aaaah!
At Balter, everyone wants to celebrate that joy with you, because beer is more than just a drink: it draws people together and is a companion to many of life's great moments.
The company's #1 philosophy is that your taste buds come first. A neat can and a cool place to enjoy are great, but if their bartenders don't make you laugh, they haven't done their job.

BentSpoke Brewing Co is the brainchild of two Champion Australia brewers, Richard Watkins and Tracy Margrain. The couple traveled the world looking for inspiration for their ideal brasserie. In 2014 BentSpoke officially opened with great support from the local community. 3000 liters of beer was served in the first week. Over the next 2 years and many accolades already recognized, with over 300,000 liters and 50 different beers and ciders, BentSpoke has established a strong position in the Australian beer market.
Building on this success and support from the community, BentSpoke has begun its next chapter with the construction of a production scale Brewery in the suburb of Mitchell, northern Canberra. This will allow them to bring your favorite BentSpoke beers to your local pub or bottler, ready for your next adventure.
At BentSpoke, they recognize the need to protect the environment on which they depend for the supply of brewing ingredients such as primeval water, fresh hops and grains. They take pride in playing their part by implementing and researching innovative ways to reduce energy, water and waste.

The story of Stone & Wood began in 2008 when three friends - Brad, Ross and Jamie, after many years in the brewing industry and with a passion for good beer, they wanted to start their own business.
Inspired by the idea of a 'village brewery' - that is, a brewery that produces quality beer while benefiting the wider community - Brad, Ross and Jamie founded Stone & Wood in a modest factory complex in the industrial area of Byron Bay and began following their vision of creating a conscious local business.
They are proud and lucky to call the northern rivers their homeland. The area's passionate community has inspired the values and culture of the business, while the surrounding natural beauty is reflected in their beers. They also brew beer for Northern Rivers special moments after an inland hike, instead of listening to music with a live band or immediately going surfing, their beer is for those times like this.

Founded in 2012 by Pat and Dave, they are a passionate group of beer lovers with award-winning beers and a strong focus on quality, innovation and flavor enhancement. Their ethos is simple: they brew the beer they want to drink.
Deeds Taproom was the first of its kind in the Stonnington council area and took five years to materialize. Inside you'll find 28 taps that pour 22 different beers. The brewery releases four new beers each month, which means there's always something new to try.
Co-founders Patrick Alé and Dave Milstein have been brewing together as Deeds since 2012, initially using equipment at other breweries before moving to this location. They are best known for their high-alcohol beers and ambiguous IPAs, although they also make beers like Lamington Brown Ale and Vanilla Porter.

Hop Nation is a craft brewery based in Footscray, independently owned and operated by good friends - and former winemakers - Sam Hambour and Duncan Gibson.
Hop Nation started out as a pipe dream for them and like most dreams, experimenting with a little bit of savings while trying to get the job done every day was the first goal. They then founded the company, came up with the brand and label ideas with some friends, launched their first IPA beer and released THE FIEND in May 2015.
They've been brewing in Footscray for over 6 years now, and they love the hop-forward style and experiment with quality ingredients. Their small batch beers are made using quality, natural ingredients, no filtration or pasteurization and minimal filtration. With a name like Hop Nation, hops are a natural focus but as their brewing origins are always inevitable, Sam and Dunc have no shortage of seasoned brewers in the field with the Fermentation Project at their site. Most recently, they have also returned to winemaking under their Site Wine lab,el, with a vineyard on the Mornington Red Hill Peninsula.

The story of Bridge Road begins in 2000 when young Ben Kraus, a native of Beechworth, travels to Europe to learn more about the world and the art of wine making. Along the way, he was distracted on the ski slopes of Austria, met his wife Maria and ended up working at a traditional brewery in Innsbruck.
Filmmaking quickly took the backseat, and Ben returned home a brewer (along with Maria), determined to bring quality to what was largely the bland beer scene in Australia.
In 2020, Bridge Road HQ has a 340-seat dining room, a pizzeria and a 25HL brewery. Bridge Road's success, built on the hard work of Ben and Maria, is a reflection of their strong values - The importance of independence, authenticity and quality.

Founded in 2016 by husband and wife team Chris & Penny Farmer, the brewery is named after their beloved dog Banks. Mr Banks is built on a love of good food, good wine and beer. Starting small and remaining family owned is the driving force behind the brewery's growth, along with always ordering beer first and calculating the rest later. They cook and pack everything at their home in Seaford, Victoria. This hasn't always been known as a place to go for a beer but with places opening up all around them, it's turned into a great beer community here in South East.
At Mr Banks, they create a wide range of styles but are best known for IPA's & Big Stouts. They also put a lot of focus on perfecting that final IPA (which they know they'll never get but will move on anyway).

Coopers Brewery Limited, the largest Australian-owned brewery, is headquartered in Regency Park, a suburb of Adelaide. Coopers is known for producing a variety of beers, the most famous of which are Pale Ale and Sparkling Ale. In the 12 months to June 30, 2020, total beer sales, excluding non-alcoholic beverages, grew to 79.8 million liters, up 3.9% year-over-year. It is also the largest in-house producer of concentrated beer in the world. Cooper also makes homemade kits, reusable plastic bottles, and beer canning enhancers. Its shares are mainly owned by the extended Cooper family, and the composition of the company and the classes of shares make it difficult to sell shares outside of the family.
Their choice of stout and beer fermented in naturally conditioned bottles is the reason they last so long. Their unique process, coveted yeasts and love of craftsmanship have proven time and time again why Coopers beer is respected around the world.
