  1. Lake Constance is 64 kilometers long and 12 kilometers wide, it is the third largest lake in Central Europe as well as one of the best lakes to visit in Liechtenstein. It is located at the intersection of three countries: Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. On Lake Constance, scheduled boat services are provided together with a variety of alluring year-round offers by numerous businesses from all three neighboring states. Many tourists and day trippers go to Lake Constance, particularly in the summer months, attracted by the lake's rolling beauty, moderate climate, and abundance of water sports and other leisure activities.

The "white fleet" links the lake's modest coastline communities and tourist destinations. Romanshorn, Arbon, and Rorschach on the Swiss side of the lake are notable towns with charming ancient towns, as are Gottlieben, Ermatingen, and Stein am Rhein, which are lovely townships on the Lower Lake. Starting at Kreuzlingen, one of the most picturesque lake and river cruises in Europe continues along the Rhine to Schaffhausen before passing through the Untersee to Stein. Boats leave Rorschach to travel the picturesque course of the Old Rhine river and arrive at Rheineck at the opposite end of the lake. For outdoor enthusiasts, the gently sloping scenery surrounding Lake Constance is a heaven. Numerous water sports activities, hiking and walking trails, but mainly skating and cycling lanes, are available in this excursion and relaxation area. The Lake Constance Cycle Path, which round the lake, is a beloved classic.

  2. The Gänglesee lake is located in the Liechtenstein Alps' Rätikon, Steg at 1300 m above sea level. The lake is a peaceful retreat and a lovely vacation spot for families and nature enthusiasts. The Gänglesee is traversed by the Valünerbach. The Gänglesee and the Steg reservoir are next to each other. This reservoir uses it as a mud collection. The Gänglesee's barbecue areas welcome you to socialize over lunch or in the evening. The young ones can construct a mini reservoir or splash around in the relatively cool water.

The Gänglesee is a peaceful retreat and a lovely vacation spot for families and environment enthusiasts. The alpine lake is swimmable, and the numerous fires urge you to picnic and have a BBQ. The Gänglesee lies just next to the Steg reservoir, a tiny paradise for fishers. The fishing association has day fishing licenses for sale. The leisurely circular trip from Steg to Silum begins here for hikers. The leisurely 2-hour trip gives peace and quiet in the forest, travels through stunning flower meadows, and provides stunning views of the mountain ridge on both sides. The Gänglesee has something to offer both in the summer and the winter. Visitors are enthralled by its azure beauty in the summer and by the snow-covered Alpine peaks that are mirrored in it in the winter. You can take a walk on the slender boardwalk that crosses the Valünerbach. The lake is a good place to pass the time, relax, and take in the scenery in the summer. At the Gänglesee or the nearby small reservoir, some people barbecue while others fish.

  3. Lake Walen's spectacular surroundings remind one of a Norwegian fjord. It is situated in Heidiland, and the hiker's paradise of the steeply climbing Churfirsten forms its northern border. The deep-blue lake is affectionately known as the "Riviera of Eastern Switzerland" due to its beauty. Magnificent waterfalls and expansive views can be found along the hiking and mountain biking trails that surround Lake Walen.

Around the lake, there are several little communities, each with unique characteristics. Quinten, for example, is a car-free community that attracts a lot of tourists due to its nearly Mediterranean temperature. Some varieties of grape, kiwi, fig, and other southern fruits thrive here because they are well shielded from the chilly north winds. Only by boat or on foot are there ways to get to the town. The tiny community of Betlis is located to the west of Quinten. The massive Seerenbach Waterfall, which is about 720 meters high, is especially striking when the snow is melting or after a significant downpour. Another impressive feature is the Rinquelle, one of Europe's largest limestone springs, which gushes out of the rocks. The popular Walensee Walk begins in the historic small town of Weesen at the western end of the lake and travels along the lake's untamed northern bank to Walenstadt.

The spa town of Amden is located on a sunny hilltop perched high above the lake's northern edge. This alpine village above the mists is a sizable hiking area in the summer, but in the winter it transforms into a warm family skiing area. We should not only mention the lakeside communities of Mühlehorn, Murg, Unterterzen, and Mols on the lake's southern shore, but also the well-known winter hiking and sports destination of the Flumserberg and the adventure paradise of Filzbach/Kerenzerberg.
