  2. The second most popular tourist destination in Sikkim, after Gangtok, is the lovely town of Pelling in the West district. The stunning view of the Khangchendzonga and nearby peaks is the main draw of the location, which is 10 km from Geyzing and 130 miles from Gangtok.     Lachen

    Lachen, which is located in Sikkim's northern district, is one of the most picturesque towns and a popular travel destination noted for its Lachung monastery.     Yuksom

  9. The Kanchenjunga National Park, named after the third-highest mountain peak in the world, is located north of Sikkim in the heart of the majestic Himalayas. It is a rare high-altitude national park and the first "Mixed-Heritage" site in the nation, and it was recently added to UNESCO's list of world heritage sites. At an elevation of 8586 meters, Khangchendzonga National Park - also spelled that way - is located partially in Sikkim and partially in Nepal.
