  2. Chef Beau Schmidt launched his first restaurant, the Oakwood Grill, when he was 19 years old. Beau's second job was at Crocker's in the Valley, where he worked as the manager and chef for the following nine years. Beau and his business partner opened Beau's Tavern in the Valley in 1993.
