    Galvin Green

Galvin Green is a golf apparel brand based in Växjö, Sweden. The company was founded in 1990 by entrepreneur Thomas Nilsson. Galvin Green designs and markets layered golf apparel for sale at golf retailers, course stores, and authorized online retailers.

In the early 1990s, most golfers wore dark, unsuitable raincoats that became extremely heavy in the rain and kept them in their golf bags until the next downpour. By 1995, Galvin Green had launched a full line of vibrantly colored rainwear that included a high level of detail never seen in golf wear. This was followed by a series of "novelties", such as half-zip raincoats, zipped trousers, jackets without front pockets, adjustable chest straps, water-repellent cuffs, and multi-colored elastic fabrics.

Galvin Green is now one of the world's leading golf wear brands and dominates the UK and Ireland rainwear sector. It first entered the US market in 2013.
