    Mitchell's Brewery is the second-largest brewery in South Africa. Mitchell's Brewery has been making artisan beers since 1983, in a picturesque part of the Garden Route. It is regarded as the original South African artisan beer, having been established by beer enthusiast Lex Mitchell. Mitchell's Brewery exclusively uses natural materials including water, barley, and hops grown locally. This brewery produces a variety of full-bodied, refreshing, and flavorful beers.     Mitchell's Backyard Brewery started receiving honors for its beer throughout Asia in 2019.
