    Anheuser-Busch Inbev

Anheuser-Busch Inbev owns and sells 500 different beer brands through a global network of over 600 company-owned distributors and wholesalers. Anheuser-Busch InBev, based in Belgium, has surpassed its competitors in terms of growth, putting it at the top of the global beer business and making it one of the world's largest beer companies.

AB InBev's recent acquisition of SABMiller, as well as former rights to Corona and Stella Artois, has enhanced the company's global worth, despite declining sales of its popular beer brands Bud Light and Budweiser. A nationwide network of over 600 independent company-owned distributors and wholesalers distributes the brewer's 500-brand product portfolio.

The company's major products, Budweiser and Bud Light, are the most well-known. Despite declining sales of these two beverages in recent years, Anheuser-Busch Inbev's overall value has grown as a consequence of its acquisition of SABMiller and expanding sales of Stella Artois and Corona. Anheuser-Busch provides a positive outlook for the beer industry as a whole since their continued growth alleviates concerns that the beer business may lose market share to alternatives such as wine, spirits, and marijuana.

    Heineken

Heineken is the second-largest beer company in the world and the largest in Europe. The firm has consistently placed near the top for almost its entire 150-year history. The company has 160 breweries in 70 countries, selling about 8.5 million barrels of beer in the United States alone.

In addition to its main brand, Heineken, the company owns the rights to popular international beer brands such as Desperados, Affligem, and Tecate. The company also provides specialty beers and a selection of popular regional and local ciders.

One of the most underrated yet critical parts of Heineken's long-term performance and potential is its technological infrastructure. The company has spent billions of dollars researching artificial intelligence (AI) and big data technologies in order to increase production and efficiency.

Heineken also invests considerably more money on AI augmentation in other aspects of its company than its competitors, such as customer experience and advertising.

    Carlsberg

Carlsberg was established in 1847 and is currently one of the most successful brewers in the world. It expanded from a little operation to become the fourth-largest brewer in the world. Carlsberg is the parent company of 140 different beer brands, including Kronenbourg, Tuborg, Somersby Cider, and Neptun. Carlsberg has steadily improved earnings and sales during the 1990s, despite a competitive market. The company's sales have continuously increased throughout the 1990s.

This growth may not be as stunning as China Resources Snow Barrels', but given the strong rivalry in the European and American beer sectors, it is still a great success.

In 2016, Carlsberg unveiled SAIL'22, a new strategy to compete with Anheuser Busch InBev and Heineken. The plan lays out how the company will concentrate more on its core beer business over the next decade, with particular objectives in mind.

    Brewdog

BrewDog is one of Europe's largest craft breweries, with a long history of edgy, bold marketing centered on its punk culture. The brewery's accomplishments to far are astounding, given that it only opened in 2007. Many of you may recognize the two founders, James Watt and Martin Dickie, from the Esquire Network's BrewDogs series.

BrewDog now has breweries in Scotland and the United States, as well as a new $30 million facility in Brisbane, Australia. The firm also owns a number of pubs across the world, including dozens in the United Kingdom.

The firm has been voted the UK's fastest growing food and beverage company for numerous years in a row, and its crowd-funding initiative, Equity for Punks, has gained a massive global following. While the firm remains "craft," TSG Consumer Partners purchased a 22 percent ownership in the company in 2017, allowing for potential expansion.

The Punk IPA, a magnificent brew overflowing with C-hop flavors, is the company's flagship and global best-seller. For a unique take on the classic red, try the 5 AM Red Ale.

    Cloudwater Brew Co

Cloudwater Brewery first opened its doors in Central Manchester in 2014 with the goal of producing delicious, seasonal artisan beer. Then came the frenzy.

The brewery began to get accolades. It was the first UK brewery to make it into RateBeer's top ten brewers in the world, arriving in fifth place last year. In 2018, the brewery stunned the craft beer industry once more. Cloudwater was chosen the world's second finest brewery, only behind the world-renowned Hill Farmstead brewery in Vermont, in the annual awards.

While the accolades aren't official, Cloudwater is assisting in the evolution of the UK beer industry by emphasizing quality, taste, and seasonal batches. The accolades just serve to demonstrate what can be accomplished when quality and competence are prioritized.

I'll try just about everything from Cloudwater, but their IPAs are incredible. You'll have to choose from what's available at the moment because their beers are seasonal.

    Lervig Aktiebryggeri

The renowned Lervig Aktiebryggeri is located in Stavanger, Norway's third biggest city. The brewery, which opened in 2003, initially specialized on pilsners.

However, in 2010, as part of a "craft" trend, the brewery appointed Mike Murphy as its head brewer. Murphy has previously worked on Mikkeller beers, served as head brewer for Bierra Del Borgo in Italy, and collaborated with several of Europe's top breweries and brewers.

His arrival at Lervig ushered in a new era for the brewery, with hops IPAs and powerful imperial stouts fast becoming the company's most popular brews.

The brewery has come to define Norwegian craft beer. Lervig produced 16.8% of the beer exported from Norway in 2017. In the middle of the expansion, Lervig has unveiled a stunning new brewing facility and visitor's center in Stavanger's downtown district, designed in conjunction with Danish architecture company Cobe.

    Cantillon

Cantillon is one of the few remaining traditional Belgian brewers, specialized in lambic and gueuze beers, and was founded in 1900. The brewery was formerly one of several classic places in Brussels, but it is now the only one that has thrived and grown through time. Much of the manufacturing equipment hasn't changed in over a century.

Climate change has begun to have an influence on the brewery's capacity to produce its characteristic open-fermented sours, although Cantillon is still regarded as one of the top sour breweries in the world. A museum dedicated to the history of the gueuze style is also located on the premises.

For a raw, authentic experience of the style, try the Cantillon Gueuze or Cantillon Kriek-Lambic.
