  1. The first position on the list of the most beautiful historical sites in the Solomon Islands is the Guadalcanal American memorial. On Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands, there is a World War II memorial called the Guadalcanal American Memorial. It was established as a memorial to the Americans and their allies who sacrificed their lives during the Guadalcanal Campaign from 7 August 1942 to 9 February 1943, and it was dedicated on August 7, 1992. To the north of it is Honiara's capital. On August 7, 1992, the United States War Memorial was officially opened to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Red Beach landings. On red marble tablets located inside the monument complex, a description of this is also written.

Robert F. Reynolds, Chief of Valors Tours Ltd., spearheaded the creation of the memorial, which was a collaborative effort between the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) and the Guadalcanal-Solomon Islands Memorial Commission. The ABMC looks after the memorial. An annual event honoring the opening day of the conflict is held on August 7th. A second monument was built by the Japanese on Mount Austen as a memorial to their fallen soldiers.

  2. Schichau Unterweser, Germany created and constructed the cruise liner MS World Discoverer in 1974. The ship's construction, known as BEWA Discoverer, was finished in Bremerhaven, Germany. The ship was damaged after colliding with an underwater obstruction in 2000; as a result, it was grounded and abandoned near the Solomon Islands to avoid sinking.

The 46° list World Discoverer is still anchored in Roderick Bay on the Nggela Islands. The ship had been looted by locals and other factions when it was discovered by the nearest salvage companies, based in Australia. The civil war was raging in the Solomon Islands at the time. The ship was further harmed by tides. With several of the windows gone, the ship has been experiencing surface rusting. The ship gained popularity as a tourist destination among island residents and other cruise ships, such as MV Princess II, that pass by World Discoverer. In the year 2000, a salvage attempt was made, however, it was "abandoned after gunfire with the local tribe."

Following the wreck, Society Expedition remodeled an ice-class ship and gave it the name World Discoverer. The subsequent ship now sails under the name Silver Explorer after more name modifications.

  3. One of the most beautiful historical sites in the Solomon Islands is the Solomon islands national museum. The national museum of the Solomon Islands is situated in Honiara. It belongs to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism department.

The museum is made up of several structures, each of which houses a gallery exploring topics including inter-island politics and the independence of the Solomon Islands. The museum's grounds also include offices and an outdoor stage-equipped auditorium. The museum has a collection of more than two thousand items, which includes items from the Second World War as well as archaeological artifacts and specimens from the natural sciences. Additionally, it has geological and marine specimens. The museum started gathering modern sculptures in 1972. The museum and Osaka University worked together in 1988 to record and preserve the music and dance customs of the islands.

An exhibition honoring Australian South Sea Islanders who were "black birded" to labor in the sugar cane fields of Queensland and Northern New South Wales between 1863 and 1904" was shown at the museum in 2014 as a way to remember them.
