100 Waterfalls
One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Laos is 100 waterfalls. With a trip through the Nong Khiaw area in quest of the 100 or more waterfalls along the way, this one is for adventurers looking to uncover the wonders of Laos.
You should visit 100 waterfalls during the dry season due to the condition of the trail. Wear waterproof shoes to prevent slipping and protect your feet from leeches. The track through the woodland is more difficult to follow after the first section of lovely green fields. Tourists can visit the waterfalls by hiking along a stream for about an hour.
You are advised to bring some essential supplies with you on your own, such as a hat, sunscreen, insect repellant, and soap for a shower after a hard day of walking on a dirt route.
You should be aware that admission to 100 Waterfalls costs US $1.20 per person, hiring a local guide costs US $5.80, and lodging costs US $0.58. Before taking a boat on the Nam Ou river, tourists can take a minibus or rent a private automobile to Nong Khiaw. If you've never traveled abroad, you can select a Laos tour to make the trip more enjoyable.
