Kuang Si Waterfall

The Kuang Si waterfall, also known as Tat Kuang Si or Kuang Xi, is regarded as the most exquisite works of nature in the entire nation.

The colorful water cascades down from a height of 50 meters into a series of little ponds before falling into a river in the jungle. Kuang Si Falls have carved a stunning travertine pattern onto the rocks by repeatedly running over them throughout the years. The harmony of the green of the lush jungle and the blue of the crystal-clear water creates a stunning skyline of swimming pools.

You will never forget the experiences of relaxing in the blue swimming pools and letting the powerful torrent shower your body while taking a one-day journey to Kuang Si Waterfall outside of the city. Swimming in the turquoise pools is without a doubt the most captivating activity, with the exception of a few "hidden pools" that are denoted by do-not-enter signs. If you're an adventurous person, you'll undoubtedly try swinging the ropes fastened to the tree while leaping into the pools. Laos has such a strict culture that, if necessary, you should change into appropriate bathing clothes.

The falls are accessible every day from 8 am to 5 pm for 20,000 kips per person. Due to the busloads of tourists in the afternoon, it is preferable to arrive early in the morning to enjoy the tranquility and get great shots away from the masses.
