Nam Kat Waterfall

Nam Kat Waterfall is a destination you should not skip when visiting Oudomxay. One of Xieng Khuoang's most stunning and impressive waterfalls is Nam Kat Waterfall.

Ban Faen Village, Xay District, Oudomxay Province is home to Nam Kat waterfall. You can use a local guide to go the 23 kilometers from Ban Faen village to Xay town. Following the stream is a simpler option that will allow you to see a variety of bright fish. A longer route can also be taken by passing through Phou Pha Daeng Mountain.

The trip to the fall is made even more interesting and enjoyable by a kilometer-long trail that passes through a lush bamboo jungle, picturesque brooks, and the "sky-walk" across 13 suspension bridges made of wood and wire. You are transported by shuttle to the starting location, from which a guide leads the group to this less popular, tranquil, and stunning fall. This ís one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Laos.
