5 Fingers
To view nature at its best, 5 Fingers in Krippenstein Austria offers a spectacular skywalk. At 1300 feet above the ground located in the heart of the mountain, the scary skywalk provides awe-inspiring views. The breathtaking sights of the Austrian Alps are best enjoyed from the structure that resembles 5 fingers. The 13 feet long viewing platform has 5 levels and all are unique. This observation deck got its name because the platforms that jut out from it resemble a hand with five fingers. Each platform performs a different function. One has a metal picture frame that visitors can stand in for photos, while another has a hole in the bottom to better see what’s below. Unlike other skywalks, visitors can access this one for free.
The surface of one platform has a hole in it. A free binocular is available on one platform, where a lovely panorama is seen. The end of spring, when there is still some snow on the mountains but the skies are clear and new, is the perfect time to visit the 5 Fingers viewing platforms. The contrast between the dreary winter and the freshness of spring is thus created. Additionally, there isn't much snow on the trail leading to the 5 Fingers at this time of year, so trekking shouldn't be too difficult.
