Glacier Skywalk
The Glacier Skywalk, a thrilling cliff-edge walkway in Alberta's Jasper National Park, offers an amazing view of the surrounding breathtaking alpine and glacier environment. Around the majestic Canadian Rockies, the skywalk makes a loop. Its amazing height of 275 meters above the valley and 298 meters extended over the edge, built on a natural rock, will give you the creeps. The half-metal, half-glass skywalk provides views of the Sunwapta Valley's million-year-old glaciers and a very distinctive environment. There are glaciological, geological, and biological secrets to be discovered because it is a component of the Columbia Icefields. The glass-bottomed skywalk, just a few minutes' ride from Columbia Icefields, extends 280 meters (918 feet) above the Sunwapta Valley. The skywalk juts out from a cliff, showcasing one of the world’s most unique ecosystems. Visitors who look down will see ancient rock formations; if they look out or up they’ll see spectacular views of the rugged Canadian Rockies dotted with glaciers.
