Abisko, Sweden
One of the greatest spots in the world to see the northern lights is Abisko, Sweden. The viewing possibilities in Abisko are available from September to April, but between October and March, you may see them almost every night. Because of the darkness of the Abisko sky, blends of hues such as green, purple, blue, red, and yellow may be seen in an orchestra of activity overhead.
While you may see the northern lights from outside your hotel or just outside the city, you're better off going to Abisko National Park or the nearby Kiruna Mountains, which are also excellent viewing spots. You may also view the Aurora from the Aurora Sky Station since its elevation provides a clear view of the sky due to the lack of light pollution. Because Abisko is so famous for viewing the northern lights, there are numerous excursions available, so you may schedule one to ensure you are in the right place at the right time.
