Aiglon College
Aiglon College was founded on a single principle: the harmonious development of the mind, body, and spirit. This concept serves as the cornerstone for all the company does. Aiglon is a community-owned international boarding school that is responsible for reinvesting in the school for today and the future.
As Aiglonians go through the curriculum, it is vital to their development to see an increased emphasis on how they engage with the school's comprehensive views and the responsibilities that the school cherishes. As a result, in order to acquire the Aiglon diploma, students must complete and participate in all aspects of the program, not just classroom instruction.
Whatever cohort you join at Aiglon or how long you have been here each year, the group offers a distinct set of opportunities that are framed as part of a much larger learning program than just the classroom experience. You can climb mountains and see the world from junior school to IB.
Aiglon has ten houses, five for boys and five for girls, with eight in senior and two in junior schools. Most senior school residences house around 50 pupils, and up to 30 in the junior school. Each house has its own personality, which is developed by the houseparent and reinforced by the house's distinct customs and identity.
In each home, students share a study bedroom with up to three other students. There is also a standard room, a dining room, and additional public rooms such as a kitchen and a games room. On-site houseparents are helped by assistant houseparents and tutors assigned to each student.
The activities program at Aiglon College offers students a variety of learning opportunities to improve their abilities and gain experience, allowing them to pursue their interests while also encouraging them to try something new.
