Brillantmont International School, founded in 1882 and now operated by the fifth generation of the founding family, provides a comfortable, home-away-from-home environment for roughly 80 students, boarding and day, aged 13-18, from 30 different countries. It is also regarded as one of the best boarding schools in Switzerland.
Brillantmont's academic program is internationally known and meets the individual needs of each student. Classes are enjoyable, and excellent lecturers enhance their teachings with a wide range of sources and media. The cultural diversity of the student body aids study and promotes intercultural understanding.
It admits students in Grades 8 through 12 (ages 13 to 18). Some students stay for several years, while others stay only for one academic year or term. Students benefit from small class sizes because they can stay focused on their goals while receiving continual support from devoted professors.
STEAM courses in robotics and coding are part of the 8th and 9th-grade curriculum. It lays the framework for a lifelong love of learning and encourages students to pursue their own interests and hobbies.

Brillantmont is a family-owned school, and the boarding school experience emphasizes family values like trust, mutual respect, support, and caring for one another. All boarding facilities are on the top floors of five buildings on the Brillantmont campus. The buildings are safe, and the boarding rooms are spacious, pleasant, and welcoming. Boys and girls are segregated into families based on their age.
