For Years 1–6, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) is linked with the English National Curriculum. The International Peace Curriculum (IPC) is a creative, demanding curriculum with a clear learning method and particular learning goals for international mindedness and personal learning based on the IPC's personal goals of collaboration, communication, thoughtfulness, respect, and resilience.
The Middle Years Programme (MYP) offers a wide and balanced education to students aged 11 to 16. In the final two years, topic flexibility allows students to pursue their personal learning goals and future educational aspirations.
Students can select between two study paths for their remaining two years of study after finishing their MYP courses.
As students settle in, house parents lend a sympathetic ear to them. Students are invited to personalize their bedrooms with mementos from home, photographs, and drawings. Of course, students are expected to keep their rooms clean and tidy. Sharing space and time is all part of the learning process.
Weekends are dedicated to relaxation, companionship, discovery, organized leisure activities, academic programs, and after-school organizations. The program is dynamic, altering in response to the weather and student preferences.
La Garenne International School respects creativity inside and outside the classroom and encourages kids to question their surroundings and form their own ideas and perspectives. It encourages creativity throughout the curriculum, with a focus on Art, Drama, Public Speaking, Debate, Music, and Dance.
