Alto's Odyssey
Alto's Odyssey abandons the bright, snowy, and colorful palette of the first game in favor of a much warmer, darker setting. The desert, while wonderfully beautiful, is harsher and less forgiving than Alto's previous slopes, and the new landscape offers a plethora of new obstacles for players to uncover. The entire game feels more introspective than Alto's Adventure ever did, including Zen Mode, and after playing Alto's Odyssey for hours at a time, you will realize that you are in a much quieter and reflective mindset.
If you only remember one thing from this, make it this: Alto's Odyssey is an experience that will most likely make you feel something. That's a difficult feat for a smartphone game to do, but Alto's Odyssey's great artwork, music, gameplay, and overall game design truly elevate it.
