Antigua Sailing Week

This premiere event has established itself as one of the world's top three most prestigious regattas, and the Caribbean's longest-running premier regatta. The Antigua sailing week has also maintained its momentum for nearly half a century and become one of the most famous festivals in Antigua and Barbuda.

Sailing enthusiasts from all around the world, including as far south as South Africa, attend Antigua sailing week. The party continues with an explosion of day and night festivities when the sails are disengaged and the boats return onshore. It welcomes teams from all over the Caribbean. The exhilarating "Lay-Day" beach event is a favorite of many citizens, where the rum and joy never stop. In the grand finale, yachts and crews from various nations will compete for prizes and medals.
