Wadadli Day
Wadadli Day is one of the most famous events in Antigua and Barbuda. This annual celebration of Antigua and Barbuda's culture takes place each February in St John's Botanical Gardens, whose trees provide shade during the festival's warri games (a strategic board game), past participants of which include the Prime Minister.
Wadadli Day is a significant event on the Antigua and Barbuda calendar since it provides an excellent opportunity for Antiguans and Barbudans to showcase all things local not only in agriculture but in other local businesses as well. The wide variety of local products included pumpkin, lettuce, peppers, sweet potatoes, cabbage, cassava bread, and more. The celebration will feature a vibrant outdoor market selling food, beverages, and handcrafted goods against a background of live dancing and music.
