Asus CM-16
In terms of networking gear, the Asus CM-16 is a nice-looking device. Its tiny design and gently patterned side panels make it elegant enough to blend in with your decor while remaining unobtrusive.
It's a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem with 16 upstream and four downstream channels, with download rates of up to 686 Mbps and upstream speeds of up to 131 Mbps. It handled numerous simultaneous connections on our testing facility's 400 Mbps internet service with ease in our tests.
The outdated online user interface was the only flaw in the Asus CM-16's review. Though it functions, it appears to have been designed decades ago and isn't as user-friendly as other interfaces we've seen. Despite this, the ASUS CM-16 is a solid modem that will save you money over renting from your ISP.
