Athena
At the top of the list comes the goddess of understanding, deductive reasoning, and intelligence, Athena. She was a special divinity who enjoyed unimaginable acclaim from both gods and humans. Given that her mother didn't give birth to her, her birth was anything but typical. Because of a prophecy that the child Metis was about to have would grow up to be the king of the skies, Zeus swallowed Metis while she was pregnant. Zeus started to get severe headaches when Athena was due to give birth. Then a fully-fledged, armored Athena materialized from his skull.
In combat, Athena was renowned for her fury, yet unlike Ares, she never showed signs of haughtiness and consistently fought for justice and righteousness. She only participated in conflicts that were necessary for self-defense. She represented reason, intelligence, and understanding in a celestial form. That explains why she was Zeus' favorite child and why he gave her access to his powerful thunderbolt anytime she needed it. The fact that the city of Athens was named after her shows just how much power she wielded over the mortal realm.
