Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

Avengers: Infinity War is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Avengers of Marvel Comics. It is the sequel to The Avengers (2012) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). In the film, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, and the rest of the Avengers get together to face Thanos, their most formidable foe yet. Thanos is on a journey to acquire all six Infinity Stones in order to impose his twisted will on reality. Everything the Avengers have battled for has led up to this point, and the fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

The film was praised for Brolin's performance, visual effects, action sequences, and emotional weight, but it was criticized for its plot, which was based on previous MCU films. The film broke multiple box office records, becoming the highest-grossing film of 2018 and the fourth-highest-grossing film of all time both globally and in the United States and Canada.
