After an act of terrorism inside Starfleet destroys most of Starfleet and all it symbolizes, the crew of the Starship Enterprise goes home, leaving Earth in a state of crisis. Capt. James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) leads his crew (Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, and Zoe Saldana) on a mission to capture a one-man weapon of mass devastation, plunging them all into an epic game of life and death.
