Bacchus

Bacchus is Airways' premium restaurant and Papua New Guinea's greatest dining experience. With starched-linen tablecloths, polished wood flooring, and crystal glasses, this restaurant in the Airways Hotel, adjacent to the international airport, is at the top of the PNG spectrum in terms of ambiance and food quality—and, of course, price. The latter can be pricey, but the food is delicious. The menu has a noticeable French lean, yet the dishes have a pan-global influence. Steaks are always a popular choice. There's also an excellent wine list to complement the food, but be prepared for a mouth-watering experience when the bill arrives.
