The resort town of Bayahibe is no different in a country recognized for its beach resorts. The tiny fishing community is now one of the Dominican Republic's most popular tourist destinations. Bayahibe Beach is less than a mile from town, but most people come here to board a boat to Saona and its spectacular beaches, which are part of a national park.
