Belau National Museum
Belau National Museum is the seventh name on the list of the best places to visit in Palau. In the 1950s, Belau National Museum became the first museum in Micronesia, with the goal of teaching the history and culture of Palau to all visitors. The tour, which may be taken with or without a local guide, comprises both indoor and outdoor displays that focus on different periods in Palau's history. The art collection, which includes over 4,000 finely created artifacts, is unquestionably the centerpiece of the trip.
The museum displays artifacts from many sectors of Palauan life, including artwork, photography, and sculptures. Palau's intangible cultural heritage, such as taro production, has been documented by the museum. Makers of works being added to the collection are interviewed, and the process of creation is documented as part of the museum's acquisition process.
