Blue Hole
This dive location is one of Palau's most remarkable marine attractions. It is located in the northern section of the Palau archipelago, northwest of the main Koror island. The Blue Hole is made up of multiple caverns that are appropriate for both novice and advanced divers. This diving spot has excellent visibility of up to 40 meters, making for a fantastic diving experience. Because this diving site is not as touristy as some other diving sites in Palau, the splendor of marine life is on full display.
Although you will undoubtedly want to spend the entire dive within this stunning blue cavern, many divers choose to depart through the enormous aperture. Leopard sharks have been sighted at the mouth, where the bottom dips to over 100 feet. Many big sea fans and soft coral may be found along the reef to your left (toward Blue Corner) as you swim along the wall. Schools of stripped snappers can be found as you ascend to the shallower reef. Depending on the currents, you might finish your dive on top of the coral shelf or float off into the deep blue in Blue Hole.
