Ngardmau Waterfall
The Ngradmau Waterfall is one of Palau's most well-known tourist attractions. The waterfall is located near the Babeldoab airport on Koror Island. The natural track goes to the waterfall and is a rather easy climb to follow. The waterfall tour begins in the Taki Nature Reserve, where meat-eating plants can be observed while passing through ancient ruins of a Japanese-built structure. It is possible to relax in the natural pools of the Nqertebechel River before reaching the waterfall. A scenic walk leads to the base of this magnificent waterfall, which is the highest in Palau.
Ngardmau Waterfall can be reached on foot (a challenging but rewarding 20- to 30-minute climb along a jungle route) or by a clumsy monorail for the less active. A swim in the refreshing pools at the bottom of the falls is a must-do.
