Black (2017)

Black is a 2017 fantasy-thriller South Korean television series starring Song Seung-heon, Go Ara, Lee El and Kim Dong-jun. It aired from October 14 to December 10, 2017, on OCN's Saturdays and Sundays at 22:20 (KST) time slot. Han Moo-Gang (Song Seung-heon) joins the Regional Crime Unit detective squad to uncover the truth about a crime that occurred 20 years ago. He is possessed by the messenger of hell, No.444, after his death. When Han Moo-Gang dies unexpectedly, the bracelet Kang Ha-ram gave Kim Joon emerges on his hand, leading Kang Ha-ram to misidentify him as her childhood first love, "Joon Oppa".

Black is about a grim reaper who is obliged to search down his runaway colleague. In the process, he learns the truth about a series of 20-year-old cold case killings. Investigating the murders complicated the reaper's primary function of leading the departed to their different afterlives, especially after he falls in love with a mortal lady, causing him to violate otherworldly rules prohibiting him from interfering in human matters.
