Black Coral
The Black Coral that lines the southern facing wall gives this dive an almost unearthly strange atmosphere, despite the fact that it is very shallow. This coral normally lives between 50 and 500 meters deep, yet it may be seen here at a depth of roughly 20 meters. In addition, the top of the reef serves as a playground for the Caribbean's younger species, resulting in a diverse range of species and dive types in a single dive.
Moray eels, lobsters, and turtles are also known to be frequently found in Black Coral, while a tunnel further up along the reef is arguably the best place on the island to find Eagle Rays. The shallow nature of the top of the wall provides excellent visibility for the vibrant coral outcroppings that meet the white sand, although the plunging depth of the wall also promises more adventure for those who wish to go deeper. Plenty of dive sites around the wall to enjoy, even on just one extended dive.
