BME International Secondary Grammar School
The BME International Secondary Grammar School is an IB DP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme) school. The first batch of 9 students began the IB program in September 2015, and they
are still welcoming applications from students who have completed the 10th grade. The primary goal of all IB programs is to cultivate globally aware individuals who, recognizing their shared humanity and responsibility for the planet, contribute to building a better and more peaceful world.
The BME International Secondary School guides students toward achieving high academic standards, active engagement in the school and local community, and exploring life goals while emphasizing respect for diverse perspectives. With a diverse student community representing 32 nations, including Hungary, Afghanistan, Albania, Canada, China, and many others, the school promotes the integration of students into the broader values and principles of the international community.
The BME International Secondary Grammar School takes pride in the multinational student body and teachers with diverse cultural backgrounds. The school embraces its international identity, fostering meaningful connections among students and aligning with the varied values of the global community.
The BME International Secondary Grammar School organizes numerous traditional and informal events. Students are encouraged to participate in various activities, including organizing events. These range from celebrating special days to engaging in Comenius eco-projects that involve trips to Finland. Additionally, they provide opportunities for students to enjoy fun nights, such as outings on a BKV bus reserved for the students.
