Lycée Français Gustave Eiffel de Budapest
The Gustave Eiffel French School of Budapest, also called the French School of Budapest, is a French international school in Hungary that educates Kindergarten to High School students.
The high school is part of a global network of French schools (A.E.F.E.) in 137 countries with 495 schools. While following French programs, the Hungarian Ministry of Education also approves the school. Their primary teaching language is French, and they have a system to help students who don't speak French integrate quickly.
The Gustave Eiffel French School of Budapest has separate Kindergarten, elementary, and middle school spaces. Still, they also share common areas like the entrance forum, auditorium (with 227 seats), gymnasium (1000 m²), and sports fields renovated in 2016. Their teachers, mainly from the French and Hungarian Ministries of National Education, focus on providing personalized and caring teaching.
Apart from regular classes, students can engage in various activities such as theater in English, French, Hungarian, and Spanish, visual arts, sports, conferences, author discussions, relay races, Press Week, Spring of Poets, writing workshops, and school trips within Hungary and abroad. The orientation program helps students gradually learn about work, business, and post-baccalaureate training to make informed decisions about their education and career paths.
